The name sage is associated with the Latin term salvare. Over time, different cultures have given this plant symbolic meaning. Some Indigenous communities in North America use varieties of sage in their own ceremonial practices. How to use responsibly

1. Place the bundle over a stable, heat-resistant container wide enough to catch leaves and ash.
2. If you choose to light the tip, keep the flame burning for only a few seconds.
3. Extinguish the flame completely and allow just a small ember to release the aroma.
4. Use briefly and ventilate the room well.
5. When finished, extinguish the ember completely and check that the bundle is cold before putting it away.

You do not need to burn the whole bundle at once. Brief use may be sufficient, depending on the size of your room and your sensitivity to the aroma.

Storage

Keep White Sage in a cool, dry place, protected from moisture and direct sunlight. Store it in breathable packaging and always check that it is completely extinguished and cold before putting it away.

Never leave the product burning unattended. Keep away from flammable materials, fabrics, draughts, children and animals. Do not inhale smoke directly or use in enclosed or unventilated spaces.
